South Africans your government is looking another place while genocide is going in DRC, Sudan and South-Sudan for years.

Even South Africans are killing their fellow Africans and destroying their businesses and properties as the government looks another way.

Maybe it's time for South Africans to revolt against their government to take care of their citiens needs that are suffering in many ways.

South African STAND UP against your uncaring government.

It's time for REVOLUTION IN SOUTH AFRICA and AFRICA.

South Africa referred Israel to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in late 2023, accusing it of committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The case is based on the Genocide Convention of 1948, which both South Africa and Israel have ratified. South Africa claims that Israel's actions, particularly in Gaza, violate several provisions of the convention, which include prohibiting actions such as killing, causing harm, and creating life-threatening conditions with the intent to destroy a group based on nationality, ethnicity, or race.

South Africa's case alleges that Israel's military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in significant loss of life and destruction, amount to genocidal acts. They argue that these actions are intended to partially destroy the Palestinian people. South Africa also sought provisional measures to halt Israel's military operations, though a final judgment on the genocide claim could take years to conclude. The ICJ's provisional rulings have required Israel to take measures to prevent acts that could be seen as genocide, but no decision on the core allegation has been made yet.

If these points are right then what's holding South Africa and other African nations stand up against the course of killings and destructions of Africans within Africa.....

  • Historical Context: South Africa's own history of apartheid and racial oppression influences its stance. Many South African leaders, including Nelson Mandela, have expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause, viewing Israel’s policies in the occupied territories as comparable to apartheid. This historical experience makes South Africa particularly sensitive to issues of racial and ethnic oppression, leading them to take action at the ICJ.

  • Commitment to International Law: South Africa views itself as having an "obligation to prevent genocide" as a signatory to the 1948 Genocide Convention. By bringing this case, South Africa is asserting its commitment to uphold international law and human rights standards globally.

  • Lack of Global Consensus: While many nations, especially in the Global South, are critical of Israel's policies towards Palestinians, political factors, especially pressure from powerful nations allied with Israel (like the United States), often prevent broader, united actions at international legal bodies. Thus, South Africa is spearheading this case while others may offer diplomatic or political support.

  • Growing International Attention: Several countries, such as Bolivia, Colombia, and Mexico, have already intervened or expressed support for South Africa’s case, reflecting increasing international concern about the situation in Gaza.

South Africa's decision to pursue legal action against Israel over Gaza, rather than similar cases in regions like the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), South Sudan, or Sudan, can be attributed to several factors:

  1. Historical and Political Ties: South Africa has strong political and historical ties to the Palestinian cause, rooted in its own history of apartheid. The struggle against apartheid created a deep connection with other movements for liberation, including the Palestinian struggle, which many in South Africa view as a fight against oppression similar to their own experience.

  2. International Legal Jurisdiction and Focus: South Africa's case against Israel is specifically grounded in the Genocide Convention, which provides a legal framework for accusations of genocide. The specific nature of the conflict in Gaza, involving allegations of ethnic cleansing, fits within this legal framework more readily than the complex, multi-faceted conflicts in DRC, South Sudan, and Sudan, where issues of war crimes, human rights abuses, and internal strife often overlap. Legal actions like those in the DRC would typically fall under different international frameworks (e.g., crimes against humanity, war crimes) rather than genocide per se.

  3. Global Political Dynamics: The conflicts in places like the DRC, South Sudan, and Sudan are often seen as internal conflicts or regional crises, with complex ethnic, political, and economic dimensions. International involvement, including backing from countries like Turkey and the UAE, complicates direct accusations of genocide, as these interventions are often framed under security or economic motives. Israel's long-standing military occupation of Palestinian territories and the international recognition of the Palestinian people as a distinct group make the genocide charge more focused and legally actionable.

  4. South Africa's Diplomatic and Legal Choices: South Africa has taken a selective approach in using international legal mechanisms. Its decision to pursue the Israel-Palestine issue at the ICJ may be due to the perceived symbolic and strategic importance of this issue globally, which garners more attention on the international stage. In contrast, conflicts in the DRC, South Sudan, and Sudan, while devastating, have historically received less sustained global focus, making it harder for countries like South Africa to build a similar legal case in the ICJ.

  5. International Responses to African Conflicts: The DRC, South Sudan, and Sudan have been the subject of numerous international peace efforts, including African Union (AU) interventions, United Nations peacekeeping missions, and diplomatic negotiations. However, accusations of complicity from nations like Turkey and the UAE in these conflicts do not easily fit within the same legal categories as Israel's occupation of Palestine, complicating efforts to bring similar international cases.

If the accusations against Turkey and UAE doesn't fit in then how does the issue of Palestine-Gaza that started the war with terror killing and kidnapping of Israelis. No Arab or middle-eastern countries wants to help the Palestinians. All moderate Arab countries knows more about the Palestinians as cancer. Iran created Islamic Brotherhood, Hezbollah and all terrorists within the Arab countries.

Many countries are happy to see what Israeli IDF are doing to the Islamic jihadists in Gaza and Hezbolla in Lebanon.

While South Africa's focus on Israel might seem selective, it aligns with broader political, historical, and legal factors that make the Israel-Palestine conflict a more prominent and actionable issue on the international stage.
