Alfa Chemistry’s T,C&A Lab Announces Capability of Corrosion Testing
Material testing is an indispensable step to ensure the safety and quality of commodities such as rubber, plastic, textile, metal, ceramic, glass, coating, wood, building material and automotive components. Corrosion testing belongs to the many types of material testing. With its advanced facilities, Alfa Chemistry recently announces that its testing lab branch - T,C&A Lab is capable of conducting a full array of corrosion testing services for manufacturers of materials to help manage production processes and control product quality.
Under certain unfavorable environmental conditions such as being infected by temperature, humidity and salt water, materials can get corroded. With a deep understanding of the corrosion mechanism, the corrosion process of the product can be controlled or slowed down and thus achieve the purpose of prolonging the life of the product.
“Testing in corrosive environments is the only way to know whether a particular product will withstand corrosive environments in its life cycle. Our TCA Lab provides a wide range of ASTM corrosion testing, including ASTM B117 salt spray testing and many other corrosion testing services for product manufacturers. All the testing experiments are carried out in accordance with industry specifications to ensure the performance of metals and coatings,” commented the Marketing Chief of T,C&A Lab.
“Our corrosion testing services include, but are not limited to: corrosion inhibitor testing, crevice corrosion testing, electrochemical corrosion testing, galvanic corrosion testing, high pressure high temperature (HPHT) corrosion testing, hydrogen embrittlement testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) testing, pitting corrosion testing, salt spray testing, sour service corrosion testing, stress corrosion cracking (SCC) testing, sulfide stress cracking (SSC) testing.” the Marketing Chief further added.
