Hey Dems, chill. You lost. And Trump just getting started on what voters want.

Vice President JD Vance said that President Donald Trump is “having the time of his life” and that the “breakneck pace” of action will continue for the next four years.
Somebody warn the liberals to stock up on their gummies. Because Trump is just getting started.
Democrats are already having a hard time coming to grips with Trump’s return to the White House.
At a rally this week in Washington, D.C., congressional Democrats had a normal one in reaction to Trump and his government efficiency czar Elon Musk’s efforts to slash and right-size the federal government – something the president had promised he’d do. They fear Musk’s alleged access to taxpayers’ financial information and the dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

“Republican colleagues, if you do not see the light, we will bring the fire. Resist!” said Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.
Always classy, Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett shouted, “We are going to be in your face, we are going to be on your asses!”
“We are at war!” Rep. LaMonica McIver of New Jersey exclaimed.
Democrats can be upset all they want, but they aren’t acknowledging why they lost and what they plan to do about it.
Voters spoke firmly that they wanted someone who would address illegal immigration and high inflation, and that’s why they chose Trump.
And Trump is for the most part (aside from random spitballing about turning Gaza into "the Riviera of the Middle East") taking action to fulfill his campaign promises.
Democratic Party is the most unpopular it's been in 17 years
While it blows Democrats’ minds, Republicans are still winning the popularity contest.
A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that Trump is starting out his second term with a 10-point advantage over his first term, which says something, given how much Trump did via executive order his first week in office.
This time around, Trump enjoys a 46% approval rating, compared with 36% at the same point in 2017.
Democrats are having a more difficult time. The Quinnipiac poll showed that the Democratic Party is the most unpopular it’s been since 2008, when the survey started asking that question.
The poll highlights that 57% of registered voters have an unfavorable opinion of the Democratic Party, with just 31% having a favorable opinion.
In contrast, 45% of voters have an unfavorable opinion of the Republican Party and 43% have a favorable opinion.
According to Quinnipiac, “This marks the biggest favorability advantage” that Republicans have held over Democrats in the past 17 years.
Americans want their lives to improve. Let's hope Trump delivers.
This latest poll tracks with what others showed ahead of the election. A Gallup poll last fall showed that more U.S. adults identified or leaned Republican than Democrat for the first time in decades.
And a big reason was that after four years of a disastrous Biden presidency, voters believed that Republicans were better suited to address their most pressing problems: immigration and the economy.
For instance, Trump campaigned on big, “beautiful” tariffs and voters seemed to go along with it.
They may not like them in practice, however. Tariffs are, simply put, a tax on goods from other countries, and it is consumers who end up paying that price. Especially if Trump follows through on tariffs on Mexico and Canada (paused for now), there will be financial pain as a consequence.
Trump’s tough stance on illegal immigration is popular, though. A New York Times/Ipsos poll from last month found that 55% of Americans strongly or somewhat support the president’s plans for mass deportations.
A more recent Times/Ipsos survey highlights how the country believes that Democrats remain obsessed with social issues like abortion and LGBTQ+ rights and are out of touch with most Americans' priorities.
Perhaps liberals should take a step back and think hard about what they’re protesting.
Because, as Congresswoman Crockett put it, they aren’t just “in your face” about Trump and Musk – they’re also fighting the 77.3 million Americans who rejected what the Democrats were selling.
