In order to participate in the financial game test, applicants must meet the minimum requirements set by The Independent Panel, including harm reduction protection, money laundering protection and data protection and privacy protection. Applications will close on October 13, 2023.
The trial will take place with the ultimate aim of defining future legal frameworks to facilitate the adoption of non-profit sports in NSW. On its website, Liquor & Gaming NSW says: “These tests will assess how cashless gaming solutions work in real-world situations in clubs and restaurants. The impact of these technologies will be identified, analyzed and evaluated by an independent auditor. The research process, developed by independent researchers, is applicable to any specific technology.
This research needs to know: Changes in the behavior and attitudes of the players due to the use of technology.
The survey also seeks to know the duration of the sessions and their frequency and level of injury; and areas for improvement to reduce gambling harm. Each trial should last at least three months to ensure that there is sufficient data to address these key areas.
