Celebration of Easter Sunday the Resurrection Power-
Declaration: I declare that resurrection power is alive in me. I choose to embrace the transforming reality of the empty tomb, walking in the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead.
Matthew 28:5-6 But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.’
Prayer For Resurrection Power – Easter Sunday
Heavenly Father, on this glorious Easter Sunday, I rejoice in the power of the resurrection! Thank You for raising Jesus from the dead and for the victory that now lives in me because of His finished work on the cross. The grave could not hold Him, and because He lives, I too have life – abundant, eternal, and full of hope.
Lord Jesus, I celebrate Your resurrection with awe and gratitude. You conquered death, hell, and the grave, and because You live, I too can live in newness of life.
Let the reality of Your resurrection transform every area of my existence—bringing life where there was death, hope where there was despair, and victory where there was defeat.
Lord, fill me with resurrection power today. Let every dead place in my life come alive by Your Spirit. Breathe fresh life into my faith, my purpose, and my calling. Just as the stone was rolled away, roll away every burden, fear, and doubt that has tried to keep me bound.
I declare that I am walking in newness of life. The old has passed away, and behold, You are doing a new thing in me. Help me to live boldly, love deeply, and shine brightly for Your glory.
Let the power that raised Christ from the dead empower me to overcome every challenge and fulfill every assignment You’ve given me.
Thank You, Jesus, for the cross. Thank You for the empty tomb. And thank You for the victory that is now mine. I rise today in resurrection power, declaring that nothing is impossible with You. In Your mighty and risen name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
The Reality Of Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 ‘O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?’ The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Living In Resurrection Power
Ephesians 1:19-20 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.
Philippians 3:10 That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
In Closing
This Easter Sunday celebrates the foundation of our faith—the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It reminds us that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to us today. May your Easter be filled with joy and wonder as you celebrate the risen Savior and experience His resurrection power working in your life.
